REGULAR SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES for the season 2011/12
In order to prepare as good as possible for upcoming performances practices will continue according to following schedule.
DATES of events for season 2011/12, which will be performed in the building SCA Oplenac October 15 2011 “Oktobarsko druzenje” Oplenac, All folklore ensembles, orchestra and guests from other dance groups November 12 2011 “VOJVODANSKO VECE”, a representative folk ensembles, orchestra December 10 2011 “Slava SKUD Oplenac”, All folklore ensembles, orchestra and choir January 28 2012 “SvetosavskI Banket”, all the folklore ensembles, orchestra and choir February 25 2012 “Humanitarni Banket Stara Raska”, representative ensembles, orchestra and choir March 03 2012 “The March gathering in Oplenac”, All folklore ensembles, orchestra and guests from other folklore groups April 21 2012 “April u Beogradu”, choir, orchestra April 28 2012 “Koncert Hora i Orkestra”, chorus and orchestra Маy 12 2012 SCA Oplenac 25th Annivesary Celebration Banquet June 03 2012 The Annual Concert, LAC, all ensembles and sections of our organization *information on additional performances will be done accordingly *practices will not be held on” long weekends” and during school holidays unless notified differently *information on extra practices if needed will be provided accordingly Serbian Cultural Association "Oplenac" is a non-profit organization and all members, Board of Directors and parents work and contribute on strictly volunteer basis. Enrolling to our sections, you will contribute to our children and help the realization of all objectives of "Oplenac". All proceeds will go towards our programs and sections, new choreographies, wonderful costumes, musical instruments and equipment, trips and tours etc. A high point for SCA Oplenac was when they received an award from the Serbian Government for being one of the best ambassadors for Serbian culture in a foreign country.
